r FINAL OF ENGLISH CUP EVERTON TEAM SUCCESSFUL (Received April 30, 6.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 29 The final for the English Association Football Cup was played at Wembley today between Evei'ton and Manchester City, before an attendance of 92,390, tho former winning by 3 goals to 0. Tho Duke of \ork represented King George, who, owing to the unsettled weather, had been advised to remain at Windsor. Tho Duchess of York smilingly presented the cup medals. It was a typical cup-tie game with Everlon infinitely superior and Manchester fading out. This was Everton's first appearance at Wembley, although it is tho second time this club has won tho cup. The team has a remarkable record, having won the second league championship in 1931, the first leaguo championship in 1932 and now tho English Cup.
