PICTURES STOLEN
THIEVES IN MONTREAL MONTREAL. April 18 Sixteen paintings valued at 20,000 dollars were cut out of their frames at the spring art exhibition in Montreal Art Gallery last night. Tho pictures were carried away by unknown thieves, who had entered the gallery through a broken window without the knowledge of the watchman.
