THE RANDWIOK MEETING WINOOKA WINS AGAIN THIRD FOR LA MODERNE HALL MARK AND PETER PAN (Received April 19, 7.H0 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 19 Ihe third day of the Australian Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting was held at Rmulwick to-day in cloudy but cool weather. There wns an attendance of 21,000. The track was in good order. The Doncaster Handicap winner/Winooka easily accounted for tht opposition in the All-aged Piute, clearing out in the straight and winning by five lengths from Tom Pinch and La Moderne (New Zealand). Autopay (New Zeuland) was the only other starter. In spite of having the services of the crack jockey W. Duncan, Autopay behaved badly at the barrier and gave the field two lengths' start. Havaspot's brother Dermic! won the first division of the Coogee Handicap and Bold Boy won the second division. Hall Mark and Maid of Orleans fought out their Sires' Produce Stakes struggle again in the Champagne Stakes,- and Hall Mark again narrowly secured the verdict. Burlesque was third and Golden Hair (New Zealand) was fourth. The Melbourne Cup winner Peter Pan. who won the A.J.C. St. Leger on Saturday, gained another success in the Cumberland Plate.. The City Handicap was won by the Australian Cup victor Topical from Mince Pie and Gippsland. First Acre (New Zealand), carrying No. 1 snddlc-cloth. made a bold show turning for home, but was unable to sustain his effort, and finished in the middle of the field. Results:—

Leila Vale was first out, closely attendod by Maid of Orleans and Veilantif. Maid of Orleans went to the front entering the straight and. maintaining her advantage, appeared a certain winner, but Hall Mark came with a fast run, and in a desperate finish passed the leader on the post to win by half a neck. Burlesque was two lengths away third and Golden Hair (N.Z.) was fourth. Time, lm Ills.

Turning for home Peter Pan joined Johnnie Jason and Oro and Cimbrian were a length away. Johnnie Jason fought gamely to keep on terms with Peter Pan, but 'the latter cradually forged ahead, and won by three lengths. Time, 3m 51s. CITY HANDICAP, Of £500; 1 mile 5 fur. TOPICAL, 11. Passing the mile, Gippsland showed the way to Mince Pie and First Acre. Mince Pie led into the straight, closely pressed by First Acre and Peter Jackson.
