HORSES FOR AUSTRALIA TEAM FROM INVERCARGILL [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] CHRISTCHTJRCH, Wednesday The Invercargill owner Air. W. T. Ilazlett has completed arrangements for racing his team in Australia. P. J. McKay will leave Bluff on May 8 for Melbourne, probably with about ten horses tinder his care. The three horses Mr. Hazletf, raced at Kiccarton thiH week, Kuling Light, Strong Light and Chief Light, will not be in the party, which will include the Eteeplechasers Paris and Taramoe, also the two-vear-olds Dazzling Raid, Sir Simper and Kindly Light, and several older horses, some of them maidens. It is intended to race the team in Melbourne during tho winter. The two-year-olds are in the principal classic events in Australia in the spring, and if they go on all right the horses will remain in the Commonwealth for tho hig spring meetings in iifuney and Melbourne.
