AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW
WHANGAREI EXHIBITION [by telegraph—own correspondent] WHANGAREI. Wednesday The autumn show of the Whangarei Horticultural Society was opened in the Town Hall this afternoon by the Mayor, Mr. W. Jones. The Whangarei Gardening Club is assisting with the show. The entries are very satisfactory and the exhibition of blooms is particularly pleasing. A unique exhibit is a laige collection of ferns, principally those found north of Auckland. A selection of fine begonias is with this exhibit, which is the property of Mr. D. H. Redwood, of Whangarei. The schools "section which has been included in the show this vear was fullv justified, and the entries for this section are of a high standard.
