VEHICLES COLLIDE
TAXI AND MOTOR-LORRY CUTS FROM FLYING GLASS, [by telegraph—own correspondent] TE KUITI, Tuesday When returning from the Piopio sports last night, a taxi, driven by Mr. J. Daly, of Te Kuiti, collided with a lorry owned by Mr. Edwards, of Mangarino Road, Te Kuiti, about three miles from Te Kuiti. The . taxi suffered severely, the front of the car being badly damaged. The lorry escaped with only slight damage. The driver of the taxi, Mr. Daly, and two lady passengers received cuts about the face from flying glass.
