POPE IN ST. PETER'S HOLY YEAR CEREMONY ROME, April 1G j In continuation of the Holy Year j ceremonies, the Pope officiated at High j Mass in St. Peter's, Rome —an event | unprecedented since 1870. More than 1 50,000 people attended, including the 1 German Vice-Chancellor, Herr von ; Papen, and the Austrian Chancellor, Dr. Dollfuss, together with pilgrims from all parts of the world. Later the Pope appeared on the balcony and blessed tho world, while 200,000 people knelt in St. Peter's Square.
