RACING APPEALS

THE PRINCESS STAR CASE HEARING FIXED FOR TO-DAY Appeals in connection with the Princess Star disqualification case will be heard by the Auckland District Racing Committee this afternoon. The appellants are the owner, Wenzl Scholium, the trainer, W. Goscomb. and the jockey, G. Grice, all of whom were disqualified for six months by the judicial committee of the Whangarei Racing Club on April 6. The ground of the disqualifications was that the persons named were guilty of a contravention of the rule relating to a horse being run on its merits.
