BOMB EXPLOSIONS
TERRORISM IN CUBA START OF "RED WEEK" (Received April IG, 5.5 p.m.) HAVANA, April 15 Troops were called out yesterday to deal with an outburst of terrorism after 17 bomb explosions had killed one person and injured three or four. Tho explosions came on the heels of several anonymous letters to police headquarters, warning the police that yesterday would be the start of a "Red week" in Havana. A score of youths have been arrested. Patrols armed with machine-guns prevented further outbreaks yesterday. To-day, however, further outrages occurred, and seven people have been killed in two days of terrorism. Tho epidemic of bombing ended quickly after three Cuban youths had been killed by the police who were rounding-up suspects. Anti-Government activities are being continued relentlessly however.
