AUCKLAND GIRLS' BAND
[from our own correspondent] TE AROHA, Sunday Tho Auckland Girls' Band, which arrived in"To Aroha on Friday evening, and was officially welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. R. Coulter, has received an enthusiastic reception upon every occasion it has appeared. A sacred concert on Friday evening drew a largo crowd and half tho proceeds have been given to tho local Relief Committee. Tho baud yesterday played at tho Provincial Fire Brigade Demonstration in tho Horries Memorial Park, and played in tho combined church parade this morning.
