fllY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday The Grand Orango Lodge of - New Zealand opened its 26th annual session to-day. There was a largo attendance of delegates. A welcome was extended by the Christclmrch lodges. Various reports were read, and the year was described as a busy one. Membership had not decreased, despite the depression. The annual conference of the Federated Catholic Clubs and Societies of New Zealand also opened to-day. The delegates were welcomed by Mr. J. 13. Taylor. Mr. A. J. Dowling, president, presided. Various topical subjects are being discussed by the conference.
