TOWN-PLANNING BOARD
MEMBERS REAPPOINTED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON. Saturday A notice in the Gazette confirms the reappointment for a further term of tiiree years of the following members of the Town-Planning Board:—Mr. F. C. Wicklop, representing the New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers; Mr. W. M. Page, representing the New Zealand Institute of Architects; Mr. A. H. Boyle, the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors; Messrs. T. C. A. Hislop and T. Jordan, the Municipal Association; and Mr. S. Blackley, Counties' Association. Mr. C. E. liercus was appointed on the recommendation of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Mr. Malcolm Eraser was also appointed to the board, having assumed his present position since the last board was appointed. Under the Act tho Minister of Internal Affairs is chairman. Other statutory appointments are the director of town-planning; the surveyor-general, Mr. H. E. Walshe; the enginecr-in-chief, Mr. C. J. McKenzie; and the Government architect, Mr. J. T. Mair. Tho department is at present without tho Services of a director, Mr. J. W. Mawson having relinquished office.
