A woman states that she was walking near the Bowker Fountain when an elderly man officiously ordered her to walk in another direction. Several other women were likewise /accosted. The letter was referred to the chief traffic inspector, who reported that twice during the past month he moved a man who was acting as an inspector in the centre of the stieet.
