MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH
REQUEST TO THE MAYOR AVAILABLE FOR SECOND TERM [FROM. OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] MORRINSVILLE. Friday A unanimous request to tho Mayor, Mr. W. T. Osborne, to offer himself for reelection for a second term was made by members of tho Morrinsville Borough Council at tho last meeting of tho council. Members of the council spoke of the good work done by the Mayor, especially in nection witli the unemployed. Mr. Osborne consented to stand again. The Morrinsville Volunteer Fire Brigade wrote asking the council to take up again the matter of a fire board for the borough and suggested that the question should be put to the ratepayers at the forthcoming municipal election. Tho matter was referred to the Finance Committee for report. A request for tho free use of the baths for campers attending the Baptist Bible Class Union camp at Easter was gianted.
