SMALL LUNCHEON PARTY INTERESTING GUESTS [from our own correspondent} LONDON, Dec. 22 Sir Thomas and Lady Wilford gave a small luncheon party on Tuesday in honour of the Rt. Hon. Sir E. Hilton Young and Lady Hilton Young. Lady Hilton Young, it. will bo remembered, was tho widow of Captain Scott, the Antarctic explorer, and she has always retained a lively interest in New Zealand, and often extends hospitality to New Zealanders in this country. Others present were:—ViceAdmiral Sir David AL Anderson (Gov-ernor-elect of Newfoundland) and Lady Andt'raon (formerly Aliss Edith AL Teschemaker)," Real - 'Admiral Geoffrey Blake and Airs. Blake and Field-Alarshal Sir George Alilne and Lady Alilr.c.
In the evening Sir Thomas and Lady Wilford gave a small dinner party at the Hotel Savoy. This was in appreciation of the many occasions on. wmch Captain Anthony Eden, Under-Secretary of loreign Affairs, and the Hon. Airs. Eden had entertained the High Commissioner, Lady Wilford and other New Zealanders. Others present were Aliss Pamela Williams and Air. Gerald Worthington.
