Airs. W. Gilmour, of the Alanse, Sandringham, and her family, who have spent the past six weeks at Island Bay, are returning this week.
Airs. AI. L. Roland and her clever family of musicians are returning to New Zealand by the Rotorua, due at Auckland on February 7.
A!iss Alona Dean (Napier) is leaving tomorrow by the Rotorua on her return journey to New Zealand, writes our London correspondent on December 22.
Overseas visitors at the Hotel Cargen include Airs. T. 15. W. Bartram, of Vancouver, Airs'. C. Ditzel, of Davtona, United States, Airs. Neustadter, of San Francisco, and Airs. J. Gates, of Jackson, Missouri.
Among the passengers to arrive by the Afonterey yesterday were Mr. and Airs. R. E. Caliwell. Air. Callwell was No. 1 boy at the Dilworth School in Great South Road,- from where lie went to join his mother in California 20 years ago. He and his bride were met at the boat by representatives of the Dilworth Old Boys' Association. Thoy will remain in Auckland for about three weeks, during which time they will be the guests of Air. and Airs. Broadribb, of 31 Pompallier Terrace, Ponsonby.
