PROLONGING UNITY
M. HERRIOT AND HONESTY RESPECT FOR CONTRACTS LONDON, Dec. 21 " The Anglo-Franco-American Entente, which was recently interrupted, can be prolonged," said the ex-Prime Minister of France, M. Herriot, at an AngloAmerican press luncheon, writes the Paris correspondent of the Times. " This is possible because all have the same difficulties to face. I will not depart from my allegiance to this triple unity. There cannot be two views on honesty. France must keep her word if she expects others to do so," he went on. " Respect for contracts is the only basis for world order which is founded on anything but force, arid force can be outlawed only by right. ' " The Disarmament Conference has been brought bacjj: from the siding to the main line. I have every confidence in the engine-driver, M. Paul Boncour."
