NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday
The steamer Tasmania arrived yesterday from Sydney to load 3000 carcases of meat, but watersiders refused to handle the cargo this morning. The owners then called upon the crew to load the meat, but they refused.

WANGANUI, Monday
No response was made to. a call fo*labour to work meat lighters when the steamer Norfolk arrived in Wanganui roadstead to load frozen meat.
Arrangements were made for the crew to carry out loading operations.
WORK ON PORT DUNEDIN
VESSEL LEAVES WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, Monday
There was no response to the call fof union labour to load frozen meat into the Port Dunedin this morning, and loading was continued by her crew. On completion the vessel sailed for Gisborne and Auckland to take further cargo for London.
