INJURY TO A RIDER

HASTINGS, Monday

While engaged jn schooling Hunting Day over the hurdles at the Hastings Racecourse this morning L. Matheson was thrown when the horse baulked at one of the jumps and ran into the wing. The rider was removed to the Royston Hospital suffering from slight concussion and other minor injuries.
