STEEPLECHASE RACE
KING'S SCHOOL EVENT j. The annual steeplechase of King's School ; was held yesterday tinder ideal conditions. Over half the pupils competed and all completed tliQ course of nearly three miles. The race was run in two divisions and resulted as follows Junior Raco (under 11 years).—E. M. Eliott (Selwyn), 1: W. .0. Abbott (Bruce). 2; W. A.lt. Fraser (School House), 3. Time. 24m. Senior Race.—R. F. Alpo (Selwyn). 1: A. M. Henderson (Bruce). 2: A. Yeomans (School House), 3. Time. 22m 3Gs. Teams of four, running off scratch, represented each house, and this contest resulted.—Junior Race: Selwyn, 3 pts.: Mnrsden, 2 pts.; Bruce, X pt. Sejjior race: School House, 6 pis.; Selwyn, 4 Pts.: Bruce, 2 pts.
