ORNAMENTAL GRASSES
Ornamental grasses are a distinct and attractive feature in any flower garden. Arranged in clumps. Mere and there in the mixed border ihey add a pleasing variety and contrast to the other occupants. Some of the kinds are prized for bouquets of everlastings and for table decorations. The following are a few choice varieties to grow. The seeds should be sown in clumps in the open grounds:— Agrostis, nebulosa, Eragostis elegans, Briza minima, Briza maxima, Hordeum jubatum, panicum, plicatum, Pennisetum rupellianum, Setaria machrochaeta, Stipa pennata, Tricholaena rosea, Eleusine indica and Agrostis pulchella.
