FALLING HAIR
One of the drawbacks to wearing no hat is that the hair becomes very dry. Dandruff, if of the dry scaly type, increases, and there is no doubt that in some cases this leads to premature baldness. . To prevent hair falling from this cause, the scalp should be massaged daily. First brush the hair vigorously, then move the scalp about over the skull with the tips of the fingers. • A little sweet almond oil may be used. Too much merely blocks the hair follicles and increases the trouble. It is usually sufficient to moisten the finger tips. To remove dandruff the scalp should be washed once a fortnight with good soap and hot water. Bo /sure to dry the hair thoroughly afterwards. /'
