DEATH ON ROADSIDE
RELIEF WORKER'S COLLAPSE DISCOVERED BY COMPANION [FROM OCR OWN correspondent] WARK WORTH, Thursday A single man, James Harvey, aged about 57, died suddenly on the roadside near the relief workers' camp at Tomarata, Rodney County, on Tuesday. An inquest was held yesterday before Mr. A. J. S. Warin, coroner.. Evidence was given by deceased's companions that he had been complaining of pain while at work and had been advised to return to camp and rest. Some time later one of his companions went back to the camp to see how lie was getting on and found him dead on the roadside. . Dr. Shaw, of Warkworth, who made an examination, said death was due to heart failure. Deceased was a returned soldier, and, as far a s is known, had no relatives in New Zealand.
