PRODUCE FOR LONDON
LARGE CARGO DESPATCHED DEPARTURE OF REMUERA After being delayed for five days on account of the freezing works dispute last week the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera sailed early yesterday afternoon with passengers, mail, and cargo for London, via Panama, Tha vessel from Wellington on October 17, and was to have sailed at daybreak last Saturday. Last Friday the loading of the Remuera commenced. The holiday on Labour Day resulted in the work occupying an extra day, and the departure of the- vessel was accordingly delayed until Wednesday and then untii yesterday. The Remuera took 82.000 boxes of butter and 6500 crates of cheese from Auckland, her full,cargo of dairy produce being 100.000 boxes of butter and 21,000 crates of cheese from New Zealand. In addition she had frozen meat- and general cargo. > ■ ■ ': . .
