BANKRUPT CONTRACTOR
INTEREST IN AN ESTATE QUESTION OF REALISING [FROM Ol"R own correspondent] . HAMILTON, Thursday An adjourned meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of William Percival Cullen, carrier and contractor,* of Hamilton, was held before the acting-official assignee, jVIr. .W. L. Roberts, in Hamilton to-day. ' .. The schedule submitted bv bankrupt at tho previous meeting showed debts totalling £626 and assets valued at £BIO. leaving a nominal surplus of £lB4. In hi* statement bankrupt said that he had a one-fourth share in the deceased estate of his father, and if his interest, which was valued at about £6OO. could be successfully realised, his creditors would be paid in full. ... Reporting to-dav on his investigation as to the possibility of realising bankrupt's assets, Mr. Roberts said the only asset appeared to be the interest in the deceased estate. If this interest realised £6OO, the payment of a fairly substantial dividend would be possible. However, this was problematical, and it would be a matter of waiting. None of the other assets was considered realisable at all. As there was not a quorum,of creditor, present the meeting lapsed.
