MOUNT DAVID SLUICING RETURN OF 270 Z. REPORTED The secretary of the Mount; David Sluicing Company, Limited (Reeftonj, reported this week that a return of 270z. of gold was obtained as a result of six days' sluicing. NEW GUINEA GOLDFIELDS ' New Guinea Goldfields, Limited, reports that the plant is being run on a small tonnage, and crews are being trained. The alluvial operating profit for August from the low-grade ground was £4823, Australian currency. The September output has not yet been reported.
