ATHENIAN CLUB

Them was a very large attendance of members and their friends at. the Athenian Club .011 Saturday evening. The hosts were the men's committee of the club under the leadership of Mr. Percy Dawes. The opening sccno represented an eighteenth century garden and " Rendezvous " was played by a violinst and harpisl as an accompaniment to two dancers in a minuet. A burlesque of this was also given by two members of the club. Vocal and elocutionary items were contributed by Mrs. Scott, Miss Dunitt, Miss Ida Lockwcod, Miss Nonio Wright, Mr. E. Middleton, the Asquiths, and the Savoy Male Quartet. Among those present wero: Mrs. D. Wright, Mrs. Trask, Mrs. F. A. Campbell, Mrs. H. A. Craig, Mrs. Munroe Emmanuel, Mrs. Carson, Mrs. W.
