LADIES' AUXILIARY
LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN ! The ladies' auxiliary of the Legion of Frontiersmen tendered an enjoyable dance to the Legion of Frontiersmen on Saturday night. The rooms were attractively decorated with streamers and flags. Musical items, which were much appreciated, were rendered by Miss Moore and Messrs. Tucker and Fryer Raisher. Sergeant Walker's Papakura orchestra provided dance music. Among those present were:—Mrs. W. Palmer, who wore black georgette with scarlet relief; Mrs. N. Kerr, black ciro lac© and chenille coatee; JNlrs. C. Scott, pink lace and iulle; Mrs. Fred. Wilson, floral chenille georgette; Mrs. Mac Donald, black chiffon velvet; Mrs. H. Clinton May, black satin and georgette; Mrs. Dundas McKenzie, black georgette relieved with cream; Mr?. F. C. Webster, cherry georgette ; Mrs. McComb, black georgette; Mrs. W. C. Smith, black georgette and rhinostone trimmings; Mrs. Kasper, apricot net; Mrs. A. Walker (Papakura), green georgette; Mrs. C. Walker (Papakura), floral taffeta; Mrs. Tarrant (Papakura), green georgette; Mrs. Tupper, black satin; Mrs. Hall, black georgette; Mrs. Sutherland, wine georgette; Mrs. Troley, black lace with floral coatee ; Mrs. Brizzell, pink taffeta; Mrs. Tucker, floral Mrs. Wallaco Martin, black lace; 'Mrs. Leslie Munro, green silk marocain; Mrs. Whittcn, sunset taffeta; Mrs. Ackin, black and silver frock; Mrs. Butcher, black georgette, sequinned; Miss Colena Campbell, pink satin; Miss G. Adams, bluo satin beaute; Miss Searle, flame satin; Miss Sutherland, black lace; Miss Moore, black satin beaute; Miss Jenkinson, wine and gold wool lace; Missi Regan, black lace and white fur coatee; Miss Ross, green taffeta; Miss Stubington, black satin beaute; Miss D. Leaity, white lace and rose velvet coatee; Miss Ryan, sunset satin and net; Miss McMahon, cream satin; Miss B. Kerr, primrose georgette; Miss George, figured primrose taffeta; Miss MacDonal, blue georgette. Lieutenant Fred Wilson, M.M., and Lieutenant Norman Kerr were in charge of floor arrangements. The toast of "The King" was proposed by Captain W. Palmer, M.C., officer in command of tho squadron.
