NEWSPAPER FIRE
DAMAGE DONE TO PLANT OUTBREAK AT BALCLUTHA [By TELEGRATH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Sunday An outbreak of fire at Balclutha on Friday night almost completely gutted tho jobbing department of the newspaper the Clutha Leader. The stock and machinery were damaged, the estimate of the damage being about £ISOO.
Tho outbreak started at the rear of the building, a wooden structure apart from the main office. The stock was covered by insurances in four offices.
