BOLIVIAN REVERSE
CHACO HOSTILITIES PARAGUAYANS TAKE TRENCHES (Received September 23, 5.15 p.m.) NEW YORK. Sept.. 22 A message from Asuncion. Paraguay, says an army communique announced that Paraguayan troops have taken 100 metres of Bolivian trenches in the Chaco region. Seventy-two Bolivians were killed. This is the first definite announcement of casualties made for nearly two weeks. The struggle is for the possession of the strategic Fort Boqueron.
