MOBS AT LIVERPOOL
RENEWED DISTURBANCES ' ENCOUNTER WITH POLICE (Received September 23, 5.35 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 23 Renewed disturbances occurred at Liverpool last fright. Constables prevented an open-air meeting being held, whereupon the 1000 people who had assembled pelted them with missiles which included old pots and pans. Police reinforcements then arrived and charged the mob. Several of the demonstrators were injured.
