It ia beautifully green and looks sis if spring is fairly near as all the wattle End bulbs ore out. After doing some shopping we returned to Lichfield by way of Arapuni, Ohaupo and Te Awamutu. Last fiunday We went lo Arapuni. we went ?icross the ewing-bridge, I don't like looking down at the river below the powerhouse. but everything is so interesting. We taw the buried forest, the places where the irout climb up, the power-house and the transforming station, together with many other places. That day (he water was. running throj-.gh the diversion tunnel but T would like to have seen it on the epillwny. There wen; also some men making a cofferdam around the leak in the headrace. On Tuesday I- went for a ride on my horse, 'lrixie.—l-remain, yours truly, Edith Lynn, Lichfield, Putaruru.
