BUSINESS MEN'S CONTEST ANNUAL MATCH AT EPSOM A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION Beautiful weather favoured, the second annual bowling game between representatives of tlio business firras in Queen Street and Karangahapo Road, on the Epsom green on Saturday. So largo was the number of contestants that the dub's four greens were used to accommodate tbe 38 tearps which took part. Hacket. responding on behalf of the players, said the fixture was important, not only from a bowling point of view, but also as a necessary link m business life of the two areas concerned. Mr T. C. Schnackenberg, on behalf of the Onehunga Chamber of Commerce, extended an invitation from that body to the members present or their representatives to play a match on the Onehunga green oiv October 1. The proposal was taken up heartily and indications point to a laTge number of teams taking part on that date.
