MISHAP TO TRAIN
DERAILMENT OF TRUCK SLIGHT DAMAGE TO LINE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WANGANIH, Thursday While going down a grade about two miles on the Fordell side of the* Okoia station early this evening, a truck of a mixed train left the rails. The brakes were applied and 16 passengers on the train felt nothing more than an unusually sharp jolt. Slight damage v.'as done to the permanent way, but the train reached Wanganui late to-night. The passengers did not wait, but walked half a mile to the road, where they were picked up by motor buses and brought to Wanganui.
