TOWEL FOUND BY STREAM , FEARS OF FATALITY - [by telegraph—press association] NEW PLYMOUTH. Thursday A little boy, Clive Smith, aged eix, son of Mr. "Arthur Smith, fanner, of Mitau, is believed to, have been drowned in a 6tream near the house t but a search for the body has not been successful. The boy got up early and took a towel and a scone and left the house. The towel and the scone were found on the bank of the flooded stream.
