ST. MARY'S HOMES
The annual Winter Fair of St. Mary's Homes at Otahuhu will bo held in tho Town Hall on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Never before in the history of tho institution has tho need for funds been more urgent. The . Government grant of £2OO has been withdrawn, and owing to tho financial depression and unemployment that exist, the board has great difficulty in obtaining the small maintenance fee from those who place the girls in the homes. There will bo stalls well stocked for tho occasion, and a good musical programme has been arranged by Mr. and Mrs. Roger Fenton and Miss Foil ton.
