BRIDGE AFTERNOON

A most enjoyable bridge afternoon was held yesterday at the Women's Memorial Ilnll in Killarney Street, Takapuna, in aid of funds for the hall. Tho prizos, which were given by Mrs. W. R. Wilson, were won by Mrs. Harold Matthewman and Mrs. Guy Masfen.. Tea was served later in the afternoon by Mrs. D'Esterre, Mrs. Hume, Mrs. T. B. Arthur, Miss Wilson, Miss E. D'Esterro and Miss L. Williamson. Among the players were:—Mrs. W. R. Wilson, Mrs. E. J. Miller, Mrs. E. E. Grimwade, Mrs. Bealtie, Mrs. McMur* trie, Mrs. Lewins, Mrs. C. Arthur, Mrs. Hanneford, Mrs. J. E.
