OBITUARY.
MR. A. G. RALSTON, K.C.
(Received July 12, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 12,
The death has occurred of Mr. Alexander Gerard Ralston, K.C., formerly actingJudge of the New South Wales Supreme Court, in his 72nd year.
The late Mr. Ralston was bom at Sydney on November 10, 1860. His father, the late Mr. .A. J. Ralston, for many years was secretary of the Australian Mutual Provident Society at Sydney. Deceased was called to the Bar in 1884 and made a KC, in 1906. He married in 1884 the second daughter of the late Sir William Windeyer, a former Judge of the Supreme Court.
SIR RICHARD THRELFALL.
LONDON, July 11
The death has occurred of Sir Richard Threlfall, aged 71, a well-known engineer, physicist and chemical research' authority. He was a professor of physics at Sydney University in 1886, and was president of numerous Australian State commissions oo engineering questions, .
