NEW ASSOCIATION. FORMATION AT MARTON. [rnosi our own correspondent.] MARTON, Tuesday. Through inactivity for a number of years tho Bulls Boxing Association lias forfeited its permit, and tho way has been niado clear for tho formation of ail association in Mnrton. . . There was nil attendance of over 50 at a meeting held to discuss tho formation of nn association. It was decided to P urc, ' n " e the Bulls Association's equipment for .tiu. The annual report of tho Mataniata District Boxinsr Association presented at the annual meeting showed thnt the two tournaments organised during the year had been most successful, although the bad weather had affected tho attendance at the second. The year finished with a small credit balance. Tho election of officers resulted as followe:—President, _ Mr. W. 1). L. MaoDonald; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Smith, J. E. Cumminge; secretary, Mr. T. Campbell; auditor, Mr. W. L. Barkman. It was decided to incorporate the association and to make a canvass for active members.
