FINE PICTORIAL SECTION. Another remarkably fino issue of tho Auckland Weekly News is published to-day. In addition to tho wealth of news in tho largo illustrated section, there are many superb photographs illustrating the wonderful winter sports attractions of both the North and South Islands. Perhaps tho most interesting of tho latter are photographs showing exhilarating hockey being played on the ico in the MacKenzie Country, Canterbury province. > This fast sport has attained great popularity. A full-page is devoted to scenes at Arthur's Pass, the favoured South Island winter playground. Othor pictures taken in th o district appear on the centre double-pago and tho frontispiece.
