OVERCOMING DEPRESSION.
NATIONAL LEADERS' PART. HOPES OF CLEARER VISION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHUECH, Saturday. The hope that, the vision of the National leaders would bo so cleared that the depression would cease was expressed by General Higgiris, leader of the Salvation Army, at a civic reception accorded to him and Mrs. Higgins to-day. General Iliggins gave an inspiring address to a large gathering in the Municipal Chambers, where be was welcomed by the Mayor and jhurch dignitaries.
