LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
An instructive and interesting address on her extensive tour through North America, the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe was delivered by Mrs. F. 0. English, president of the Foilson by branch of the League of Mothers, to a largo attendance of members of the Onehunga branch on Thursday afternoon. The speaker's visit to Oberammergau, her description of the Passion Play, its various actors and tableaux, and the atmosphere of reverence and sanctity which it created, left a lasting impression on her audience. Mrs. W. J. .Jordan presided. Miss (libson, of Epsom, contributed two solos and was accompanied on tho piano by Miss Bailev. The. hostesses for the afternoon were Mcsd,itnos Pickering and Whimster. NG AII APE. The Ngahape branch of flip League of Mothers, held the first, meeting for 1932 at, Mrs. J. J. Taylor's residence. Mrs. Dymore-Brown presided. Dr. Gilberd, of Otorohanga, gave a most, interesting address on " First Aid in the Home." Afternoon tea was served by the hostess.
