TENNIS IN WELLINGTON.
SEQUEL TO TOURNAMENT.
AN UNAFFILIATED ASSOCIATION. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Friday. The council of' the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association has affirmed the decision of the management committee to suspend two players, one man and one woman, of the Brougham Hill Club, for periods of approximately two years, and one year respectively. The offence for which the players were suspended consisted of playing in a tournament conducted by the Wellington Catholic Lawn Tennis Association, an unaffiliated body. The players have appealed against the decision.
