Cricket history was writ ton here to-day when tlie team representing the colony of Jamaica scored 702 runs for the loss of only fivo wickets and declarer! their first innings dosed against Lord lennyson s touring English team composed of county and international players. The visitors had made 185 for three wickets when play ended for the day. Headlcy, who was a member of the West Indies team which visited Australia in 1930, scored not out. for Jamaica and Passailaigue 261 not out.
