STOCK SALES.

MORRINSVILLE PRICES. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report:—At Morrinsville on Friday there was only a medium yarding of beef which sold under keen competition. prices showing an increase on late rates. The advertised lines of East Coast cattle came forward and attracted buyers from all outside districts. The cattle in spite of their long journey by road landed in good condition and sold under good competition, all lines changing hands under the hammer at satisfactory prices. There was a good yarding of nil classes of sheep. Store lambs and young ewes sold particularly well, and ruling rates were maintained on fat sheep and older ' ewes. Although thero was an extra heavy yarding of pigg thero were very few pens of good baconers, the yarding comprising mainly unfinished pigs and an extra largo number of stores and weaners. Prices were on a par with late rates for all fat pigs, best quality baconers meeting with keen competition. Stores and weanprs w?re dull of sale and values again showed a decrease. There were approximately 800 pigs yarded.
