EMPLOYEE'S DISMISSAL.
CLAIM AGAINST COMPANY. SUM OF £l4O AWARDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. The case in which Francis Rickards proceeded against Catts-Patterson (N.Z.), Limited, for £195, claimed to represent three months' salary in lieu of notice, ended f.o-day. The magistrate, Mr.- Page, said he was of the opinion that there were not sufficient circumstances to justify plaintiff's dismissal without notice. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £l4O, together with £ll costs.
