GUIDERS TO VISIT ENGLAND.
A party of seven Girl Guiders frpm various Auckland companies have for seme months past planned to attend the twenty-first birthday celebrations at Fozlea&e, the English Girl Gnide home, but owing to the depression in England the celebrations ha ve been cancelled. In spile of this the party is leaving to-day by the Ulimaroa en route to England, where they intend to visit the Guide home. The party has prepared poi dances and Maori stick games to show English Guides something of New Zealand Slaori customs. By the kindness of Lord Bledisloe the Guiders have permission to camp on the site of the Soman ruins cn his estate in England. * The Guides in the party are: Miss. Bar£in. of Cavell Company: Miss Lusk, of Cavell Rangers; Miss Neill, of Cavell Brownie Pack; Miss Freda Knight, of Royal Oak Company; Miss Mason, of Epiphany Company; Miss "Wilson, of Wairnauku Company; and Miss Clarke, of North Shore. The party expects to return about October.
