INDIGNANT DENIAL. CZECH OFFICIAL'S STATEMENT. PRAGUE. Dec. 28. Karl Vanek, the. Czecho-Slovakian official who was recalled from Moscow at the recjuest of the Soviet Government, indignantly denies that ho in any way approached or even suggested tha* Citizen G., otherwise Goditzki, a. Moscow theatre employee, should attack Mr. ]lirota, the Japanese Ambassador. Jle says the hitter's name was never mentioned. Vanek was alleged by the 'lass News Agency to have suggested to a Russian official an attack on the Japanese Ambassador in order to provoke war between Russia and Japan. It was staled the Russian official had revealed the nature of the plot to his own Government. A message from Riga yesterday stated that Citizen G. had died suddenly, the official explanation of his death being severe illness.
