A repayment I had been made by the Thames Jockey Club so that a credit balance of £449 was brought forward. Although the gates and totalisator showed a decrease, it had to be noted that under the heavy taxation increases imposed by the Government the same amount as last year was paid in taxation. £1336. Owing to the Easter period falling at the end of March next year it was found neces?ary to change the date to April 16.
