AUCKLAND CABARETS.
PETER PAN. The new Peter Pan Band is proving very popular with the cabaret patrons, and there were numbers of young people at the cabaret on Saturday evening to hear the latest innovation. Poppies and daffodils decorated the tables and cubicles. Those present included:—Mrs. G. Brinsden, who wore tea-rose pink ripple ninon and lace coatee; Mrs. T. Gaudie, Canton jade-green satin beaute; Mrs. S. Gillies, parchment-shaded georgette frock, with flounced skirt; Mrs. Chas. Louisson, bottle-green fische net; Mrs. A. E. Moore, black crepe de soie; Miss Daphne Knight, black satin moire; Miss Kosemarv Waller, Nile-green dnchesso satin; Miss Rita Cornaga, black luce frock; Miss Pat Buddie, black satin beaute and diamante; Miss Shirley Frater, turquoise-blue faille; Miss Alison 801 l (Hamilton), phlox-pink taffeta; Miss Freda Snter, parchment satin and lace frock; Miss Isobel Lorigan, bottle-green lace frock; Miss Moya Goldwater, black and rose floral chiffon; Miss Audrey Hutchison, Nile-green crepe soie; M iss Helen Seabrook, black chiffon, patterned in geranium-red; Miss B. Randle, ivory satin beaute; Miss Roberts, ivory satin moire gown; Miss Audrey Walton, black lace frock; Miss Gwcn Bichards, poinsettia-red georgette; frilled; Miss T. Douglas, camelia-pink crepe soie; Miss Dallas Smith, ivory satin beaute: Miss Muriel Sanders, water lily-green patterned organdie: .Miss Joan Biss, black georgette; Miss Joan Craig, black floral taffeta frock; Miss Sanders, black lace gown; Miss F. Sanders, black georgette, with floating draperies.
DIXTELANJX A scone of gaiety was presented on Saturday night at Dixieland. Bowls of Iceland poppies and daffodils made attractive decorations on the small tables in the cubicles and (lie softly-shaded coloured lights added further attractiveness to the scene. Among those present were: —Mrs. T- Cole, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Nimon. Mrs. Hirst, Miss Miller * (Wellington), Mrs. George Lavcock. Mrs. Frank Mor ley, Mrs. Coakley, Mrs. Stewart., Mrs. Hoare, Mrs McKinley. Mrs. Clayton, Mrs. Alex. Foil irk, Miss Isobel Davis, Miss M. Hoare. SYMONDSVILLE. There was a good attendance of dancers at the Symondsville Studio on Saturday evening, when Miss Spencer held her weekly dance. Mr. Gordon Cornes and the Mayfair, Orchestra provided excellent dance numbers. Miss Spencer wore a frock of primrose taffeta and Mrs. Spencer was in black and pink satin.
